-------------------------------------------We all receive good marriage invitations having pictures of gods with glittering colors and designs. Once the function is over what to do with these cards. No one want to discard them since they are very beautiful besides pictures of gods will be there. So such cards keep on piling in your collection.  You can reuse such cards with a little imagination and  work into beautiful envelops that can be given as a present when you intend to give money in such functions or you can use it for birthday gifts, house warming and any other occasion you wish. Just remove the printed section of the invitation and select the other portion which either will have the pictures of gods or designs and convert them into an envelop.you have the satisfaction of reusing the invitation and not throwing it away and also the joy of parting your own hand made gift.  Great is it not So collect all these invitation cards and let your imagination do the rest. Have a look at the pictures to get an idea of how to make such envelops.

In Karnataka during dassara dolls are arranged in houses to display the traditional Maharaja ( king ) Maharani ( queen), gods  and other traditional dolls. I have a fascination towards these dolls and along with arranging dolls , I have paid a tribute to our solders by arranging a small display about our indian army. showing their training  camps, vehicles , arms , quarters etc. A few pictures are here .
